Frequently Asked Questions

Do you charge a planning fee?+
No. Your HIPPO is paid by the supplier when you book, so the trip costs no more than booking direct. Often less, because we know which packages and promotions are actually worth it.
How far in advance should we book?+
4–6 months for the best room categories and pricing. Last-minute (under 30 days) can work but options narrow fast for popular dates.
What if I find a cheaper price online?+
Tell us — we'll often match or beat it through consortium pricing, and you still get the perks and support. The 'low price' online frequently excludes taxes, transfers, or essential add-ons.
Do you book travel insurance?+
Yes. We strongly recommend it for international trips. We can quote travel insurance with the booking.
What if the resort isn't what we expected?+
You text your HIPPO. We work with the resort and supplier to try and fix it — room reassignment, complaint escalation, sometimes mid-trip resort switches.
