These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the GOwithHIPPO Travel website at gowithhippo.ca (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

“GOwithHIPPO”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to GOwithHIPPO Travel. “You” refers to the person using the Site.

1. What this Site does

This Site provides information about GOwithHIPPO Travel, our independent travel advisors (“HIPPOs”), and the types of trips they plan. It lets you find and connect with an advisor. The Site itself does not sell travel — travel is booked by your advisor through licensed suppliers, and the terms of any booking are governed by the supplier’s and advisor’s own agreements with you.

2. Working with an advisor

When you choose to work with a HIPPO, you enter into a relationship directly with that advisor. Our advisors are independent contractors who set their own hours and manage their own client relationships. GOwithHIPPO does not guarantee any particular outcome, price, or availability for travel you book through an advisor. Disputes about a specific booking should be raised first with your advisor and the relevant supplier.

3. Accuracy of information

We work to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but content (including destination information, advisor profiles, blog articles, and reviews) is provided for general information and may contain errors or become out of date. Pricing, availability, and supplier offerings change frequently — always confirm details with your advisor before booking.

4. Intellectual property

The Site, our brand, our content, and all associated materials are the property of GOwithHIPPO Travel or our licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, or republish our materials without our permission.

5. Reviews and user content

Customer reviews displayed on the Site are collected through a third-party reviews platform (Judge.me) and reflect the opinions of the individuals who submitted them, not GOwithHIPPO. We may moderate or remove content that is unlawful, abusive, or violates the reviews platform’s policies.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GOwithHIPPO and its directors, officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or any travel booked through an advisor. Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to CAD $100.

7. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising out of these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Alberta.
