My name is April, and I am a traveler at heart! My journey began in 1999 when, at the age of 20, I boarded my first plane for a solo backpacking adventure through Australia and New Zealand. Since then, my passion for travel has driven me to experience more of the world. I have visited Hong Kong and Korea, and have spent considerable time exploring North America.
As I continue to improve my Spanish, I am also eager to learn French, with plans to continue educating myself in South American and European society. I'm deeply passionate with respect to embracing life to the fullest, and I am especially fascinated by different cultures and their medical industries.
I live in Calgary, Alberta, where my daughter and I love the proximity to the mountains, the rivers and lakes. We also enjoy everything from farmers markets to first class dining and shopping. The multitude of diverse cultural, theatre and sporting events keep us busy throughout all of the seasons.
I aspire to become both an educator and a lifelong student of travel, while collaborating with others in this field. I am here to help you with your personal journey; whether it's for adventure, for relaxation, or for something more specialized.
